Dear brother,
My family and I thank you for your courage, honorable service, and sacrifice. We will keep you in our prayers and will honor you always. You had the courage to stand for peace and justice, to fight what the rest fear, and to stand between the peaceful and those who wish to do them harm. There is great honor in that and you will always be remembered as a hero for it. You have earned your wings my brother. Rest easy.

I'm not an officer of the law. My son was a police officer, and I worried about him every day. I pray for the family of this fallen hero, and I am grateful for his sacrifice. I know that all of law enforcement suffers today because of this loss of life. It doesn't matter where we live, law enforcement is there to protect us, and we should honor all of them. Rest In Peace, Officer Collier.
