Chief Steven Marshall said it all. As a firefighter I work with great police officers on every call. I respect all those you put themselves in great personal danger every day. My heart is heavy over the loss of Detective Eric Smith...I was familar with when attending High school together. I use to run in to him time from time in city of Jackson. The is truly greiving right now may God comfort us all...Especially Sgt. Smith his wife and their children. Jackson Police Dept you are in prayers also.
