Brother,
My family and I wish to thank you for your bravery, honorable service, and sacrifice. You chose to fight the evil that is out there and place yourself between it and us, the citizens you swore to protect. Doing so placed you in harms way every day, yet you fought what the rest fear for over 40 years. That sir, makes you a hero, and you have earned your wings. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart. Rest easy my brother.

As you departed the bonds of this earth and touched the face of God, know that the service, commitment and dedication you had for your fellow officers, your peers, and the citizens of your community will never be forgotten. May God comfort in this time of sorrow your family, your fellow officers and all those whose lives you have touched. You have served your time in hell, now rest comfortably in the arms of God, we'll take it from here.
