How many people can say the served in Trooper Walkers capacity for 40 years, he obviously was an amazing man. Our prayers go out to his brother TROOPERS, and his Family. I hope you will all take some comfort in having known this hero died protecting all of us for longer then many of us have lived. Thank God for him and thank God they caught the useless animal that did this, hopefully justice will be served on him here as well as were he will have to meet his destiny. Stay safe my Brothers of the night.

Thank you to the Walker family for allowing us to have him as a role model and trainer for so long. He could have hung it up years ago, but stayed instead. Our family is deeply saddened by his death. They just don't make them like him anymore.
Another brother trooper has fallen. "Someday this war is gonna end......."

I have had a couple of "hoopdee" breakdowns on the highway in the past. State Troopers have been nothing but helpful and friendly to me.I feel safe every time I see one perched on the side of the road. I pray for Master Trooper Walker and his family. He did not deserve this.

My husband, Jack, and I extend our heartfelt sympathy to the family of Trooper Walker who was killed in the line of duty. We are saddened by yet another senseless act of violence against another human being, especially one who puts their life on the line for the safety and peace of mind of others. May you gain strength from the fact that there are so many who care about you and are praying for your comfort and strength as you walk this part of life's journey without Trooper Walker. Trooper Walker will be greatly missed by those who were taken under his wing and trained for their place with the Virginia State Trooper organization. Peace to you, TROOPER JUNIUS WALKER.
Respectfully,
