It has been 2 years, 8 months, and 21 days since my dad died. His absence is felt every second of every day. His passing has left a void that will never be filled. I'm proud of his commitment and service to not only the town of Stuart, but also to the state of Iowa, and to the police brotherhood as a whole. Being a police officer was his true love. He was born to serve and protect.

Thank you for loving my dad and for welcoming him into your lives. His legacy lives on in those that love him, those that were helped by him, and those that felt safer through his service.

Rest in peace Dad and I hope you are enjoying all the fishing up there in Heaven!!
