Rest with the Angels Officer Lawrence, your ultimate sacrifice will not be forgotten. Prayers for your family and for your fiance's family also. This twisted tragedy has no closure.

Officer Lawrence, You join many officers who have gone before you into the Presence of the Lord.
To Your Family,
Feel His presence as God answers the prayers of many who have fallen to their knees on your behalf. Since the day of my son's death, I have carried every law enforcement officer and their family in my heart.
Every morning I go to my knees. During that time I pray, “Lord, Be with all law enforcement officers. Keep them safe and free from harm. They are your soldiers on the front line of the battle against evil. If one should fall this day - wrap their family in your loving arms. Surround them with loving, caring people to comfort them. Ease their pain. Help them to mourn well. In Jesus' name, Amen”
I have lifted you and your family to God every morning for 23 months. Feel those prayers. God is with you, He knows and will ease your pain.

I was touched by my fellow co-worker and partner in crime this past Christmas season. I have a hobby every year to personally hand write Christmas Cards for each of my co-workers. Last year, I was blessed to have added Keith Lawrence to my card list. I got to meet him, and passed him in the hallways at times. His big sweet smile is what I'll miss the most. God bless everyone that he touched.

As a citizen of Los Angeles and a supporter of law enforcement everywhere; These recent days and losses have left us numb; in shock and ill inside. The greater our losses, the more we must come together to share this burden. The magnitude of this darkness defies the search for words to express our pain. With tears and the utmost respect for the loss and the pain that those closest to this madness must endure. In The Name of All That Is Good, may you find strength. Dear Almighty God. Please help us.

Officer Lawrence was just starting out in his career to protect and serve, but he will always be remembered as sincere and brave. His loss is so heartfelt. But we must remember that his soul is with Our Lord now, and try to take comfort in that. We will all be together in His love and care one day. God bless you forever, Officer Lawrence.

A POLICEMAN’S PRAYER - Teach me that sixty minutes make an hour, sixteen ounces a pound, and one hundred cents a dollar. Help me so to live that I can lay down at night with a clear conscience, without a gun under my pillow, and unhaunted by the faces of those to whom I have brought pain. Grant that I may earn my meal ticket on the square, and in earning it I may do unto others as I would have others do unto me. Deafen me to the jingle of tainted money and to the rustle of unholy skirts. Blind me to the faults of other fellow, but reveal to me my own. Guide me so that each night when I look across the dinner table at my family, who have been a blessing to me, I shall have nothing to conceal. Keep me young enough to laugh with little children, and sympathetic enough to be considerate of old age. And when comes the day of darkening shades and the smell of flowers, the tread of soft footsteps and the crunching wheels in the yard, make the ceremony short and the epitaph simple – “Here lays a man.” --Unknown

Brother, you gave your life in a totally unexpected way at the hands of a madman. You and your fiancee did not deserve this. Now you will accompany each other for all eternity, but far too soon did you start your journey and for all the wrong reasons.
Thank you for the six months you gave to the USC community. It's hard to lose a Brother/Sister from the family, but when it's another member of our tight little campus family, it's just a little tougher.
Thank you also to Ms. Quan for her time in the family.
God Bless you both and may you both forever Rest in Peace.
