Reflections for Public Safety Officer Keith Lawrence
I knew Public Safety Officer's Fiancee and her father. I went to high school with her and saw her father pass by or at her basketball games. She was a good person an knew she would find someone of the same qualities.

I remember kcal9's coverage if his death looking at it as just another homicide news report until the breaking news saying the suspect was a former LAPD cop, and that there was a manhunt. Me wanting to be an LAPD cop, was shocked. The next day before school my mom told me he killed a riverside officer, my heart sank, that same day an officer from the Montebello police department came to our school to talk about safety, later that week I heard that a San Bernardino detective was shot and killed. These officers sacrifice will never be forgotten.

When we read of unfortunate situations that officer Lawrence and ms. Quan were confronted with we pause and think of them being in God's
Memory. How we agree with the patriarch Job-'If a abledbodied man(woman) dies can he (they) live again?' Later he says (yes) God has a
Longing to bring them back. May they sleep in peace till then

My deepest condolences to the family, members of the department, and those served, at the loss of this officer. May faith, family, friends and time join together to ease everyone’s pain at this time of loss.
While many other career choices were certainly available, this officer chose to protect his fellow man, and for this we give everlasting thanks. As the Good Lord hath said, “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”
Thank you for your service, your convictions and moral character, as well as your devotion to duty. May you now rest in peace, knowing your fellow brothers and sisters will watch over your family and continue the Watch!

Though I never knew him, he was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we have suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such incidents & He will judge the guilty. May family & friends feel the presence of the "God of All Comfort" as they endure the distressing days ahead. I join them in their agonizing grief & remember them in my prayers.
Another senseless tragedy
Another day of grief,
Another day of praying
To help us find relief.
Relief from bitter anguish
Relief from rage so great,
Relief from lenient justice
Which continues to seal our fate.
Relief from heartache’s torment
As we continue on,
Oh, the awesome loss of brotherhood
Now that you are gone.
Though our hearts are deeply broken
And our tears forever flow,
There’s a comforting assurance
That now with God you go.
We know that you are welcome
Now at Heaven’s gate,
While meeting brothers & sisters
Who also met such fate.
The family of Law Enforcement
Knows no distance here or there,
And we recall in comfort
You await us there.

OUR THOUGHTS ARE AND PRAYERS ARE WITH OFC. LAWRENCE AND MONICA TO BE INVOLVED IN THIS HISTORICALLY TRAGIC INCIDENT. OUR PRAYERS ARE ALSO WITH THEIR FAMILIES AND CO WORKERS. THE WHOLE LE FAMILY WAS APPAULED BY SUCH BARBARIC COWARDLY ACT OF THIS %#@$*&. IT ONLY STRENGTHENS LAPD STAND AS TO WHY HE WAS DISCHARGED. THANKS TO ODMP FOR MAKING NO MENTION OF THE SUSPECT BY NAME. I FEEL VERY STRONGLY THE SUSPECTS NAME SHOULD NEVER BE IN PRINT WITH THE OFFICER HE HAS SLAIN.
BLESSED ARE THE PEACEMAKERS FOR THEY SHALL BE CALLED SON'S OF GOD MATTHEW 5:9

Your work is done here on Earth - Heaven has called upon you today, leaving so many words left to say. But now it's too late, for your time has come, words unspoken; I am sure everybody has some. Regrets and wishes are probably there too, but lasting forever are memories of you.
There have been many times that we waved to each other, but we were there for each other in time of need. Now it's time for us to say Good-Bye, until we meet again in heaven to fly. Now go and Patrol the Heavens Above and Watch Below those you Love. Thank you for your service.
