I am glad to see Officer Lawrence recoginized on this page as his death occurred because he and his fiance Monica Quan were both members of the greater law enforcement community. They will not be forgotten. I pray for the solace of all those who called them beloved.
Thank you for your service to your community and the citizens of Calfornia, and the supreme sacrifice that you, Monica, and your families made will always be honored.

I am grateful that there are brave officers like you who are willing to sacrifice their precious lives to protect us. Another "Hero" taken. Prayers to your department and most of all to your Loved Ones, you did not die in vain, you died doing what you loved and for that you are a REAL HERO! Thank you. Come walk a beat in Heaven. Watch over your brothers and sisters now, and help keep them safe, as we must stay for now. Till we walk the beat together again, may you and your Fiancée R.I.P, S

I have laid down my life in service to all of you.
I have been a part of the fabric that has held the line between your safety and your victimization. I have given my life so that others may live in peace. I have lived my life as a dedicated member of the greatest profession. There is no greater honor.
As I now become a part of the rich history of law enforcement, please remember me always for I have left behind those who loved and depended upon me.
My partners and my agency, please remember my family, their loss, and don’t let time soften your compassion for them.
You guard the gate now and I will continue my watch from above.
MAY YOU REST IN PEACE AND MAY YOUR FAMILY FIND COMFORT IN THE GOOD YOU HAVE DONE HERE ON EARTH.

There are just NO words to describe how horrible this past week has been for officers in California. NOTHING can be said to help ease the pain for them and their loved ones. Just know that there are thousands who hurt with you and are praying for you.
