As an Honor Guard member I have had the heartbreaking and difficult task of saying goodbye to some of the bravest men and women I have ever met. I have a deep respect for our nations law enforcement and correctional officers and feel saddened every time I hear of another lost knight. It broke my heart to learn we lost you, and angered me to learn it was at the hands of someone we once called a brother. You did not deserve that and I find it hard to fight back the tears as I write this. Thank you brother, for the service and protection you provided our great nation. You and your loved ones will always be in my prayers. Job well done, rest in peace my brother.
