A law enforcement officer should always be remembered not by the way he died, but how he lived! One of our Peacekeepers has moved on to his next journey to ensure that we all have a safe path to follow. Thank you very much to you, your family and the Chitimacha Tribal Police Department. Our community and the country is now a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother………

We have all lost a brother in this senseless tragedy. Our strength is in the integrity, character and bond that make us all brothers and sisters in a profession that is rarely appreciated until one of us falls in the line of duty.

You chose a profession that pays little in financial means, but few professions offer more personal rewards for those who yearn to protect their community. You are a here to your agency as well as the profession that we have chosen to commit ourselves to. Bless your family for they too are often the unseen people who make the sacrifices’ of not having us there for holidays’, and the many other sacrifices’ that our families make in supporting our choice to serve. May God look over your family and let them know to always hold their head proud of the family that they are a part of. Peace be with you brother.

As I sit here and read what had happen that sad day even being present and aware that day I just can believe as one time in my life I don't know the answer. As a police officer I wonder why. And then if came to me GOD knows best and only take the best. So to my brother rest on and walk alittle extra for me while you walk that heaven beat. Soon I'll be there to someday. So until then walk on until we meet again.....
