So well put at Kevin's memorial service.
My heart goes out to Officer Tonn's family and the close family at Galt PD. May you keep your memories of Kevin close to your heart. I know how difficult this time is for a smaller agency and how close you are at Galt PD. So many people are keeping you in their prayers.

For Police Officer Kevin A. Tonn:
The call to a burglary scene is common among patrol officers and each call presents danger - particularly the risk of the arriving officer being slain. Often the officer arriving perceives a reduced threat and it is at that moment that the worst can happen. We regret that Kevin would be the next officer to die at the hands of a thief, a scoundrel and a coward who always strikes by surprise and then takes his own life rather than face what follows.
We pray for Kevin's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render a final salute to Officer Kevin Tonn, a soldier-of-the-law.
