Horrible tragity for all involved. Even just as tragic is the suspect lived.
Next year I will propose a bill to the House for mandatory death penelty for every one (regardless of the State of offense) who intentionally kills a law enforment officer in the line of duty; making it a federal offense. Max time on death row would be 10 years if approved.
