I didn't know Officer Sebena. I was deeply moved by her passing and it strangely seems like yesterday! May her souls and all the souls of the faithful departed in the community of Law Enforcement Rest In Peace!

Jen was my mentor, best friend, and my number one. She taught me to be kind and forgive those who have done wrong. I know it is hard to always do so and especially with her gone I have had trouble keeping those words in my head. But then I remember what a happy life she lived and how many young girls lives she changed living with that attitude.
It was not publicized very much but Jen saved multiple girls lives including my own by showing us God and most importantly love. Please keep those girls in your prayers as the holidays come around. As with every holiday that past and she is not there with her bright smile it becomes harder and harder. I speak for many of these girls when I say thank you all for the service you do and your kind words.

I hope that your murderer never goes free. How despicable that someone who entered into marriage vows with you took your life in such a horrific way. I hope that the sentence brings some measure of peace to the hearts of all that call you beloved.
Rest in Peace. You will not be forgotten.

My name is Joey Ferrell, I am a Junior in high school, and I am writing a report on Officer Sebena for my criminal justice class. Her story may cause grief but it shows that danger can come from anywhere and makes me proud in my persuit to become a police officer.

I remeber hearing about this incident and wondered what had happened. I just found out today about her husband killing her. This makes me fell sick as I think about it. R.I.P Officer Sebena and may her killer be punished as severly as possible!

You define what is currently engraved on the National Memorial... "It is not how these officers died that made them heroes, it is how they lived." I will continue to pray until your name is on that very wall... were it belongs. You are a hero to me... and every other officer who puts on the uniform.
