My condolences to your family. Rest In Peace Officer Decker... It always hits a cord with me to know that another fallen officer has been taken from his or her family in such a horrible way. But now instead of Serving and Protecting here on Earth you have wings to Serve and Protect from above.

A police officer should be remembered not by how he died, but how he lived! A great man has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Cold Spring Police Department. Our country is a little less safe without you. Rest in Peace Brother.

As a person going into Law Enforcement, I went on quite a few Ride Alongs with the Cold Spring - Richmond Police Department. I did have the opportunity to meet him during one of those and he will be greatly missed. He was an outstanding police officer and I consider it an absolute privilege to have met him.

Absolutely heartbreaking and another senseless act by a coward. My heart goes out to the family of Officer Decker, the Cold Springs Police Department, Stearns County SO, and my friends in L.E. from the area that are grieving the loss of a great young cop!
