We pray for and remember the family of Illinois State Police Trooper, Kyle Deatherage. We cannot imagine the pain and anguish they are feeling at this time. But we know that our Lord and Savior has overcome death and we will be united with all those who have gone before us. May God the Father deliver peace and comfort during this time. Only HE can provide a peace to a tired and desperate heart. Only HE can deliver a reassurance beyond all belief. He has a plan in ALL things. May we never forget Kyle and his service as a Law Enforcement Officer. We celebrate his life and also the constant reminder that the Word tells us, “Lord, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered— how fleeting my life is. You have made my life no longer than the width of my hand. My entire lifetime is just a moment to you; at best, each of us is but a breath.” Psalm 39:4-6

For Trooper Kyle Deatherage:
The patrol officer is at great risk working on the nation's highways, and the motor officer has even greater risk because of lesser protection from traffic. We regret that Kyle would be the next officer to become a victim in traffic. It is a tragedy too often repeated.
We pray for Kyle's family, friends, co-workers and all who care about him. May they be ready to reach-out to one another in the days ahead.
We are proud to render Trooper Kyle Deatherage, a soldier-of-the-law, a final salute.

Brother, we will miss you. You represent all of us, each day, not knowing, which will be our last. Some had the blessing of calling you friend, father, son, husband, and finally Trooper. In all, you watched over and guarded those you loved, and those you did not even know. You served, as we will continue to serve. You loved, as we will continue to love. Our treasures are not of this world and I pray you are with our Father in Heaven reaping peace and love. We shall see you one day and enjoy the peace of our fathers house. Peace to your family brother.
