Thoughts, prayers, and hearts go out to this deputy and his family, as well as the other involved. These guys a true hero's. Back in August 2012, we had lost 2 officers ourselves (St. John the Baptist Parish - Louisiana) in an ambush attack on 4 officers, injuring the other 2. Its a hard lost for all of us, but know that your service will always be remembered.

Brother, your End of Watch occurred on Friday, November 23, 2012. For now, rest in peace. We will take over from here.

What a tragic loss for family, friends, co-workers and community...especially at this Thanksgiving time of year. My deepest sympathy in this unexpected and horrific loss of D.S.Ward who was just doing his job keeping the community at peace as an officer. May D.S. Scott be resting in Jesus arms knowing he did a job well done, and his loved ones blessed with our Heavenly Father's strength and comfort. My heart sincerely hurts for y'all.
