I still remember my father and miss him to this date. In his memory I went into law enforcement myself and was with the Hillsborough County Sheriff's Office in Tampa, Fl. for 28 years. I was 8 years old at the time of his death and the oldest of 4. I still keep a picture of him with me.

Thank you to everybody for your reflections of my Dad. I was almost 5 years old when he died. Remember my Dad letting me sit in his police car. I miss having my Dad growing up all these years. Miss you Dad

To fully appreciate the heroes of the present, we must recognize our heroes of the past. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 57th anniversary year of your death. I am privileged to leave a tribute to you. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect. Your memory will always be honored and revered. Rest In Peace
