Officer Kneeland, in the long run, you showed that skunk who the tougher man was. He hurt you and hurt you bad, but you held on for a long time.No doubt the times were difficult and may have even been unbearable, but you stuck it out. Now that you're gone your family can have all those years you were still with them to hold in their hearts.

So long as you live in their hearts and memories, you are not really gone. Thank you for your service to the City of Worcester and the Commonwealth as a whole.

Rest in Peace and God Bless you, Brother.

Dear Officer Kneeland: May you rest in perfect peace with no pain and a perfect body to allow you to do what you have not been able to do all these years. Thank you for your service.

What better motivation do all you officers need to inspire you to get drunks off our roads? What this fine cop endured makes me so sad and renews me to better educate the public about how far-reaching the effects of drunk driving are.

Since a drunk took away my dream of becoming a California Highway Patrol Officer I can't arrest anyone, I can only do my best to assist victims and their families and educate the public about the consequences of drinking and driving.

My love to all officers everywhere and keep Officer Kneeland in your thoughts and prayers. We were blessed to have had him when he served. Let us thank him for that service.

His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"
