His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"

We few.....We Happy few...We Band Of Brothers....
For he today, whom sheds his blood with me....
Shall be....My Brother....

Nebraska Police Officer

September 22, 2012

God Bless You, Officer Fox, and God Bless your wife and children. It is a terrible thing for a woman to lose her husband, and children to lose their father. I am commited to making myself available to them if I am ever needed, especially to your children, since I was very young when my father was killed in the line of duty. I will keep them in my prayers, and will always be available to them if they need me. Rest in peace. You gave above and beyond the call of duty, and I will always mourn your loss.

Brad Thank you for your service to our great country and to Plymouth twnshp.

On the day of the services for you i was actually in the area of the cemetary and was amazed at the support of all the police cars i saw that just goes to show what type of a person you were.

But later that night I was in a local pub in the town that both you and I grew up in to shoot pool in a 9-ball league when I struck up a conversation with a player from the opposing team and came to find out that the gentleman is your cousin and had just come from your funneral.

After 2 hours of talking with him we struck up a friendship my only regreat is that i will get to do the same with you.

But rest assure that I will never forget you or the sacrifice you made for everyone.

Brad, I stood by your Brothers in Blue at the hospital, it became apparent to me immediately how much respect and admiration they all had for you. You can be rest assured that this tragic loss was handled in the most professional and honorable manner. Your brothers were there for your family even in the face of their grief. While we prepared to bring you to you final resting place, our community came out o honor you. People came out to say thank you and let your family know that they would keep your wife and children in their prayers. They did this not because they had to but because the felt the need to because of who you were. When we took you to the cemetery people lined the roads not because they were stuck in traffic but because they wanted to say farewell to a true Hero. I was honored to ride with you and your brothers. You will be greatly missed by many but you will never be forgotten. You left a positive mark in the world and for that I say thank you.

I sat down today and read the letter that your lovely wife wrote you. I smiled, I laughed, and of course I cried. My heart breaks for your family, but I know you will watch down on them with every passing day. I know your children will grow up knowing who you are and what you did and they will know what a true super hero is. May you rest in peace as we pray for you, your family and your K9 partner as well as the brothers and sisters left grieving. We will always remember and honor the sacrifice you made.

Another good cop taken away from us by some low life coward. Officer Fox: the reflection of how you lived your life was evident in not only your wife's beautiful and heartfelt letter to you, but also evident in the obvious, overwhelming support from all our brothers. God bless you Officer Fox. My heart and thoughts go out to your family and your department.

You did not know me or my family, but we deeply appreciate your service to this country as a Marine and to Pennsylvania as a police officer. We mourn with your family and friends, and we pray that they find some small comfort knowing that so many people are saddened by such a senseless tragedy.
