To the family, co-workers and friends of Officer Youngstrom, There are no words to ease your pain, but I send my deepest condolences for your loss. My late husband Mike worked in that office for the large majority of his career, and though I don't know many who work there now, it holds a special place in my heart.

Our CHP family has lost another one of California's finest. My close friend is the widow of Officer Dave Romero EOW 9/23/2005. I have seen the pain of losing such a great man but I have also watched his family grow and succeed with him in their hearts! He is always with them!
