Officer Younstrom, no words can ever express the gratitude I carry in my heart for your dedication to making the people of California and Contra Costa County safe. You made the ultimate sacrafice and I will forever remember you. Knowing that you donated your organs so that 8 others can carry on with their lives is yet another gift that shall never be forgotten. I will pray today, tomorrow and everyday that your wife and your children will carry you in their hearts forever- proud of the husband that you were and proud of the amazing father that blessed them for far too short a time. The pearly gates have opened- you are now in god's arms- may he continue to keep you, bless you and provide the strength for your family. You will never be forgotten- you are the ultimate definition of a real hero. God Bless you Officer Youngstrom and Gold Bless your family.

TO THE FAMILY, FRIENDS AND COLLEAGUES OF OFFICER KENYON YOUNGSTROM.
My heart is filled with great sadness at the lost of your loved one and fellow Officer.
We in the law enforcement communtiy are a family.
Whether you wear a Badge, a Shield or a Star upon your chest.
Whether you work in a small town or a large city.
Whether you work in Detention Facilities or out on Patrol.
Whether active duty or retired, we are family, a law enforcement family, a brotherhood, a band of brothers having walked the line of good over evil knowing that at any moment in the course of performing our duties the ultimate sacrifice might be required of us in the service to our community.
For Law Enforcemnt is not a job but a calling and only a few few will make the decision to commit to that calling to served for some will give all that they have.
I commend you my fallen brother for making the ultimate sacrifice in the performance of your duty.
For you left us doing what you chose to do.
Performing a job you were trained to do.
Upholding the oath you swore to do.
Most importantly doing what you loved to do..........serving your community making a better and safer place for us all.
