Reflections for Deputy Sheriff William Ronald Mast, Jr.
Our brave brother was called home this night, a life he had dedicated and gave for those he never knew. In that moment his life was taken and with it a part of us. This sacrifice you gave will live forever in the memories and hearts of many. Our thoughts and prayers are with your wife and family. Rest in peace brother William.

My brother, I heard the news in FTO training, and the class became somber and reflective as we mourned your family. After I returned home, my wife and I cried for you and your family. Your bravery and commitment to your duty has answered questions of my heart; we do this job to serve. Although I never met you, I cried for you. The evils of the world stole the chance for us to meet, however, we will be confronted and joined in the court of our Lord. Until then, our Savior will diligentally watch over your wife and child, until you meet them in the court of our Lord. God bless your memories, your family, and your department. Thank you for your service. I promise to keep your family in my heart, thoughts, and prayers.
