Chad I remember you and I were the imly ones entrusyed with the keys to shirokiya. I remember youre joyfull happy face as Icame in everyday. I never had to worry about what hsppens in the store when u were there. When I needes someone to watch some suspects while I made copies ot dom er something you were there. I temember a time I arrested a guy fir taking something from the bakery befire the store opened you vame and helped me.and I remember when you said youre going to yry for hpd I said go for it...I was so proud when you made it in...I only fear the thouhht of you.getting the bug fir law enforcement from our expieriences At Shirokiya.......but then I think you went for it because all of us local boys look to Hpd as one of the most tespectful and prestieges jobs we could ever have. I cried when I saw the news that nite as I am now...Iwill always remember you aa my friend and I will always be proud of you for what you have achieved. I pray that youre kids will someday know that their father was a true hero... Just a local boy from maui made it into hpd and diied inservice

7-23-12 was a dark sad day for Solo Bike, HPD and all of Hawaii for we truly lost a great great son of God. He was also a brother, a son, a father, a husband, a co worker, an Officer, a Hero and a true friend.. and our hearts go out to braddah Chad all of his Family...... CHAD- Everyday I think about it, I still have a hard time coming to grips with your untimely passing and still can't believe your gone...
