We honor your service to your community as a law enforcement officer and you will always be remembered and revered. Rest in Peace.

On behalf of our entire family, I wish to extend our sincerest condolences on the grievous loss you suffered when Patrolman Reeves was killed. May his loved ones continue to be supported by their law enforcement family and other police survivors. Our family grieves with you and for you. To his family, you are in my heart's embrace today.

My cherished son, Officer Larry Lasater, was murdered on April 24, 2005 while serving with the Pittsburg Police Department in California. He was also a Marine so I express my thanks for your service in the Corps and bid you semper fi.

This reflection is sent with the utmost respect for the distinguished service Patrolman Reeves gave to his community and the citizens of New Jersey, and the supreme sacrifice he and his family made on July 8, 2012.

It is so amazing what people are doing for our family. We thank you, it truely means a lot. Chris was the most amazing guy I knew, he was the best cousin I could ask for. He would do anything for anyone who needed help. I loved him so much, and I'm sure everyone who knew him would say the same. Just remember that smile he would have on his face every time you saw him, and never let it go.
