If this man should fall, who will lift the flag and carry on? Thank you you for carrying the flag Officer Bitner.

I hope for three things:
1.Eternal peace for my brother officer
2.Blessings and protection for his family
3.This offender rot in prison for life
Defense attorneys will try to pass these offenses on as 'mistakes' or 'bad judgement' by their clients.
The damage done is irreversible and will effect the lives of these children forever.
May the Lord bless them and watch over them for the remainder of their lives.
Deputy Sheriff
Martin County Sheriff's Office (FL)

Good times were had in Italy and last year in Tennessee. This is not how things are supposed to happen and you will be truly missed. May your family find some kind of peace in this tragic time.

Jeremy,
I want to smile when I see your picture on here because I'm almost certain that right after the picture was taken, you smiled your self-satisfied smile and asked of you looked serious enough. You were one of my favorite cops and one of my favorite people. When the In-House phone line rings, my heart drops because I know you can't be on the other end. You were a great man and you're missed.

FOR A WIFE WHO HAS LOST HER HUSBAND,
WE ASK GOD TO FILL THE SPACES LEFT BEHIND.
FOR PARENTS WHO HAVE LOST A SON.
MAY GOD SUSTAIN YOU, AND HOLD YOU IN HIS ARMS.
FOR SIBLINGS WHO HAVE LOST A SIBLING.
MAY GOD REMIND YOU OF THE GOOD TIMES.
WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.
FOR OFFICER'S WHO HAVE LOST A DEAR FRIEND.
MAY GOD HELP YOU PICK UP THE PIECES.
FOR CHILDREN WHO HAVE LOST THEIR HERO.
MAY GOD RESTORE BEAUTY TO YOUR HOME,
WITHOUT REPLACING HIS MEMORY.
WE CAN’T SAY THANKYOU ENOUGH.
THE BROTHERS, THE SISTERS, THE PARENTS, THE CHILDREN, THE FRIENDS.
WE HONOR THE FALLEN, AND PRAY FOR THE LIVING.
IN YOUR PAIN, AND IN YOUR SADNESS,
AND YOUR TEAR FILLED NIGHTS.
GOD PROMISES A DAY WITH NO MORE PAIN,
NO MORE SADNESS AND NO MORE TEARS.
IT’S A DAY WITHOUT MOURNING.
A DAY WHEN THE RADIANCE OF HIS SON SHINES BRIGHTER,
THAN ANY PAIN WE HAVE EXPERIENCED AND UNTIL THAT DAY WE GATHER TOGETHER.
“OFFICER”, WE SAY THANKYOU,
BECAUSE WE CAN NEVER SAY THESE WORDS ENOUGH.

Jeremy, from 1994-1996 you made me laugh. You and Yonce and Perry made skiing look easy. I tried to keep up with you guys on the runs, but fell short. There are so many funny stories and events that come to mind, its hard to believe. You lived life to the fullest. Mortar boys forever!
