You were my friend and brother in blue and remembered you from the first days we met in our Academy class. I will never forget the tenacity and professionalism you always displayed when I use to stop by and visit you at the 75 Precinct. Dave was a good cop and friend. I was a rookie cop when I knew him. He took the time to show the rookies how to do things safely and the right way. I learned a lot from working with him. He will never be forgotten.

I am privileged to be the first to leave a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the second anniversary year of your death.

Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service , My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.

Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered. Our nation will never forget any of our 9/11 heroes.
