I am privileged to be among the first to leave a reflection for you. Your heroism and service is honored today, the 116th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service to my home state and the birthplace of my son. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect and your memory will always be honored and revered

It has been 116 years since your passing, and far too long since the name of "The Dutchman" has been spoken with fear and respect at Trenton. You have been away for many years, but no longer. Now you're coming home.
