As a mother, we are never willing to give up our family. But it was the desire of your heart to become an Austin Police Officer. To serve the people of Austin as a proud officer, that at the end of the day you could say, "I've done my best." That's what I have read about you, in all the previous Reflections. You were an honerable Austin Police Officer. Your wife, children, parents and friends will forever remember the true Hero you were. Thank You. I will pray for your family. Their lives are changed forever.

Jaime, I remember riding with you and Brian when I was a wet behind the ears rookie. I had just been sworn in as a deputy sheriff with the SO here in San Angelo. You and Brian were the gang unit then, going after the bad guys, throwing guys in jail. I learned alot from yall then. I still harass Brian too since I got on with PD here in Angelo. You will be missed my brother in blue. Rest now, we have the watch. We'll see you at the gates in time brother.
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind always be at your back.
May sun shine warm upon your face,
the rain fall soft upon your fields,
and until we meet again
may God hold you in the hollow of His hand.
