I met Jaime once during one of my visits to Austin. Professionally he appeared to me to be everything anyone would want from a law enforcement officer. I'm sure he will be missed.

It is so very sad to hear of a peace officer being killed while on duty protecting citizens. Thanks to the WalMart employees who held the killer until help arrived, they too are heros. My condolences to the family of Officer Jaime Padron, he was taken way too early. May Jehovah give you peace to face the future.
