A police officer should be remembered not by how she died, but how she lived! A great woman has gone to secure a safe path for the rest of us to follow. Thank you to you, your family and the Lake County Sheriff's Department. Rest in Peace Sister.

Britney Meux can't believe you're gone. I've known you for four years. We have had our ups and downs, yet in the last 2 yrs I watched you mature tremendously. We embraced our differences and became closer. I respected you how you handled situations in a professional manner. I looked forward to see how you would wear your hair so I can get ideas for my next hairdo. It's a bitter sweet blessing that Savannah is here. We have a memory of your beautiful smile through her. Yet it's bitter because she will not be able to see you physically. I know that you're up there with your grandma and shining down on Savannah. Miss you girl and in memory of you I'll make sure that I keep the hair natural. May you rest in peace soul sista
