It saddened me to see the hurt and pain in her family and friends faces as I attended the service. My heart goes out to those people as I too am a family member of a loved one who was killed in the line of duty. We work so hard to make it through the job day by day and go home to those who love us. Thoughts and prayers to all families of Law Enforcement who has lost.

I did not know you, but know the ultimate sacrifice you made. Thank you! My father was also shot in the line of duty. As horrible as it was, I do know that my father died protecting others just as you did. My sincerest condolences to the pill family , i wish i had khow her , but i am sure she was a great human being , dedicated and motivated to serve in law enforcement not just for a salary or wage , but she served cause she loved her country and she cared for all of us who live in this great country , thought the loss of a police happened over there in Florida , i feel this country and all of us here in Hawaii and the entire nation mourn the loss of deputy sheriff Barbara , pill and one loss of life is a great loss for all of us. Guns N Hoses basketball tournatent held on March 11, 2012. They all spoke very highly of and dedicated the Championship they won to Officer Pill.....Rest in peace!
