I am so sorry to hear about the loss of Barbara Pill. It is unfortunate when we lose a fellow officer or deputy in the line of duty. It really hits home and in our hearts whether or not we knew the person on an intimate level but somehow we are all connected and it does hurt. RIP Barbara Pill. God Bless Pill's family, friends and co-workers. I am sure she will be greatly missed.

This prose has put so many things in perspective for me - hopefully it will help some of you who are grieving the loss of a hero who obviously lived her life in the service to others.

"So live your life that the fear of death can never enter your heart. Trouble no one about their religion; respect others in their view, and demand that they respect yours.
