To have given so much to your country, family and fellow officers is as amazing as it is honorable. Rest in peace brother and may god send Michael to watch over your loved ones with a ready sword.

As a fellow State Trooper, from the State of Florida, I know the sacrifices Tony and his family has made while serving as a Trooper and the rough road ahead for the family. My family and I have the Radulescu Family in our Prayers. I am certain that the service he rendered will be recognized by his community and the Washington State Patrol.

I am so saddened by this. I often traveled through this area when I "took the long way around" on my way to visit my aging mother on Bainbridge Island before her death in 2001. For the family members and fellow WA officers, please know that there are so many, many more of us who silently grieve with you, who value the service, and in the case of Trooper Radulescu, the tragic sacrifice, of WA state patrol.

A few years ago, I had the opportunity to do a ride along with Trooper Tony. It strikes me with how everyone's reflection of him is about the same. A man who loved his job and had a very infectious personality. This is the same impression I got when I rode with him. He was a fine officer and will be missed. I look forward to meeting you again and getting to know you better Sir.

Rest with G-d.

Tony Radulescu was an amazing man who cared very deeply about the community he served. He touched so many lives and left even those he ticketed with a smile. He will be sorely missed and always remembered for his tact, genuineness, and amazing smile.

If there was ever anyone who had the fortitude and true desire to humbly serve, Tony Radulescu was that man.

Thank you for your service, Tony. I commit to pray for your family, and those who stand watch over all of us - too often without our gratitude.

We are profoundly grateful for your service, but more than that - we are grateful for how you lived your life and provided an example to all of us.

Thank you, and Godspeed.

God Bless you Trooper Tony and sincere condolences to your family. Knowing you these last few years through our respective jobs has greatly blessed me. You were a kind, considerate and caring individual and trooper every time I had occasion to see you. When you pulled my son over for racing you, you also showed compassion to a young man who had no record, he seemed like a good kid is what you said on the phone. You gave him a ticket and sent him to his mama for a talk. You made his ticket a learning experience. When ever I saw you, you always asked about him and how he was doing. Two years after that ticket, he got his first job, which involves driving the company truck. He would not have had that opportunity except for your compassion. I had meant to tell you next time I saw you, so I will do it now. Thank you Trooper Tony. I was blessed to know you. I will miss you and your smile. I know that we will meet again. God's speed.

"Never forget what they did here. It is rather for us, the living, to be dedicated here to the great task remaining before us - that, from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion - that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain." President Lincoln

Your sacrifice and last full measure of devotion will not be forgotten. RIP Brother
