Reflections for Deputy Sheriff Charles J. Haney
This day, 10/22/2017, is the 100th anniversary of your death at the hands of an evil man, and this day 100 years later I wrote a reflection for another officer, who died this day, that being Officer Thomas Schroth, of the Exeter, CA police department.
Should this nation survive another 100 years, neither Deputy Charles J. Haney, or Patrolman Thomas Schroth will be forgotten.

My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer who was murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
