God Bless all the family of Dave White and his wife Jennifer, daughter Ashley and baby boy Cooper. Dave was my friend, co worker and a dedicated professional cop. He never complained, never backed down and Loved serving the community and America. He was a Christian, a calm but thorough Detective and could always be counted on to do his duty. He absolutely Loved his family and we talked many times of his devotion to Jennifer and his children. He Loved his parents and all his family. He will be missed but we know he is with God now, looking down at us all and telling us to keep up our dedication to serving the community. God Bless you Dave, I Love You Brother.

"Death. It strikes fear and anxiety in some. It brings peace to others. It can ruin lives and scatter someone's emotions; yet it brings family and friends closer. It tears us apart, but strengthens us. We all know it's a part of life. One day, at each of our chosen times, we will cease to exist. We don't know when death will swoop in from the darkness it stands for and take a loved one out of our life, but it will happen: some sooner than others, but always too soon. It's unfortunate that God takes away the best, and always leaves us feeling the worst.

It's hard to imagine what it would be like not to have someone around, whether it is a friend or family member. It's hard to come to terms with the fact that someone you cared for, loved, or knew won't be there anymore to make us laugh; to make us smile; to talk to us; to guide us; to comfort us; to listen, or to just be a friend. It's hard not knowing what happens after death. Is there a better life? Or do we just become part of the earth. We can't comprehend the idea of death, yet we imagine it. Imagining is some much easier. Imagining doesn't leave the pain and suffering. Imagining doesn't leave the questions of how and why. Imagining can only re-enforce the fact that we will all experience a loss at some point in life, and the feelings we get are minuscule in comparison to what is really felt when death reins down upon us. No one likes to imagine these things, but we do it anyway. Nobody likes to think that someone they love is going to die, but again, we do it anyway. It never fails though, as often as we think of it, we can never prepare fully for when that fateful time comes when we have to mourn the death of someone.

When that time comes we realize that language is only a barrier in the projection of emotions. Words seem to fall short in such an abrupt manner. Words will never emit the real sadness felt. Words can never comfort us when we have just lost someone dear to us. Words will never explain the how or why someone was taken from us. All that is known is that there is a rush of emotions that we all feel. We might not be able to say we know exactly how someone feels, but our frustrations, angriness, bitterness, sorrow, and other emotions are ultimately shared."

Thank you Det. White for your service to God, our Country, and our Community.
