Rob, it has been 9 years and I still miss you every day. I so remember the day you came into PSD Port Hueneme to check in when you returned from your IA. I told my staff to let me know when you got there and it made my day to see you. I know you are watching over your family and friends and it comforts me that you are keeping an eagle eye on all of us!

I am privileged to be the first to pay tribute to you.
Your heroism and service is honored today, the 6th anniversary year of your death. Your memory lives and you continue to inspire. Thank you for your service. My cherished son Larry Lasater was a fellow police officer murdered in the line of duty on April 24, 2005 while serving as a Pittsburg, CA police officer.
Time never diminishes respect. You will always be remembered and revered.
