This tears my heart out.... I am sending you peace and love in my prayers. This is to close to home. I just attended a funeral for the on duty death of Officer Francom. I wished I could be there in person but I will be in heart! Be aware of your surroundings and wear your vests. Be safe to all my fellow LE family!

Many do not understand the dedication and commitment it takes to walk the halls, cellblocks, dayrooms and chow halls of the penitentiary. While some may say Sgt. Ester lost her life unnecessarily over a pair of shoes I say no. She lost her life serving her agency and state while enforcing the rules and policies set forh. I commend her service and actions, but I also pray for her husband and family through this time.
