I know your great-grandson! He is a wonderful Godly man! You would be so proud! He is traveling to your families’ reunion today! He shared your story as he relayed his talk to a great-nephew during our Sunday lesson! Thank you sir, for your service! Your legacy lives on because of the preparations you took all those years ago to provide for your wife and children!

Time may have passed but you are not forgotten. I believe as long as someone remembers you or speaks your name, you are still with us.

Thank you for your heroism.

God Bless

Ulysses S. Brent was the grandfather I never had the privilege
to meet due to his all-too-early murder in the line of duty. He was taken from our family (leaving 8 young children) at the age of 35 defending the freedoms and privileges we enjoy today. After the induction to the "Wall of Honor" in D.C., last week, I could never be more proud of all our active and fallen officers.
Our prayers go out to all who have lost loved ones serving the American people.
