10 years today. Still think about you everyday. My mission is to continue to tell your story. As I travel the country telling people about your sacrifice we continue to laugh at the funny times we shared and the lovable dumb comments you’d make. I know you are laughing each time with us. Valhalla brother!

In a few days it will be 10 years since you were murdered by that POS. I think of you often and miss seeing that baby faced smile. I'm sorry the POS survived that night. At least he is where he belongs now. Rest in peace brother, I will never forget your courage or sacrifice.

John 5:28, 29 - "Do not be amazed at this, for the hour is coming in which all those in the memorial tombs will hear his voice and come out". I pray that everyone can find peace in knowing that we will see this officer as well as many others again in Paradise soon. Until then, please accept my condolences.

I remember working with Jared on many occasions (I'm a retired tow truck driver). He was without a doubt one of the kindest and most professional officers I've ever had the pleasure to work with in my 30+ years. You are and will ALWAYS be missed, my Hero! In fact, all of the Peace Officers in the state of Utah, and the United States are MY HEROES for the job you all do, every day! Walk that beat in Heaven, my friend! I'll see you again.

Seems like it was just yesterday, I still remember what the air felt like that night, it plays over and over in my head sometimes. Thank you for watching over all of the brothers and sisters in blue. I'm sure you know, but we still talk to you. Micah was talking yesterday about how much of an individual you are, how wonderful you are, and how he misses you so much. I can't believe It's been a whole year. You've left a legacy, you must be so proud... You are dearly missed and never forgotten. not a day goes by that you aren't loved and missed. thank you for all you've taught us/me and rest well. "We've got it from here."

I still recall talking to you at the funeral for Deputy Josie Greathouse Fox, your academy classmate who was tragically shot and killed two years to the day before you. I teased you a little about your little pony tail in your class A uniform. You were quick with a smile, a laugh, and a comeback. Then we reflected on Josie for a bit.
I still remember seeing you while you were brand new and on FTO. So nervous but so eager and confident at same time. You turned into quite the cop. Thanks for your jokes and smiles. Thank you for being the man you were.
