Reflections for Park Ranger Margaret A. Anderson
I am a wife to an Iraq and Afghanistan war veteran and have a young child and another is on the way. My heart particularly hurts about this story and especially for the family that Officer Anderson left behind. Those two little girls are now without a mother and I cannot imagine the pain and the loss they will continue to suffer for years or the rest of their life due to the actions of this very sick individual. I just felt a need to write something here. I hope there is a site set up to donate for a fund for her little girls. I would like to donate something.

This is such a devastating story and I am so saddened by this innocent loss of life. Park Rangers are such devoted individuals who are so passionate about nature and their surroundings... they help make these beautiful parks an amazing place to visit.
May God Bless Margaret Anderson - she is a true hero and her bravery will never be forgotten.
I pray for her husband, children, family, friends and all Park Rangers during this difficult time.

I remember when everyone at my house saw all the police cars rushing down Mountain Hwy during my New Year's party, and everyone was wondering what had happened. Then I remember slowly hearing more and more about what happened up at Mount. Rainier. It really takes a long time for stuff like this to sink in, especially when something this big hits such a small town like Eatonville. I am just a 15 year old girl that lives in this town, I did not know her personally but this tragitiy must be recognized. My prayers go out for her family. Rest in peace Margaret. ♥

May you see God's light on the path ahead
When the road you walk is dark.
May you always hear,
Even in your hour of sorrow,
The gentle singing of the lark.
When times are hard may hardness
Never turn your heart to stone,
May you always remember
when the shadows fall—
You do not walk alone.
Sympathies to Ranger Anderson family and friends.

Once again, I am sadden to know there was another law enforcement killed by a coward. I am glad he is dead. Like I've said before, I rather use tax dollars for other things then to give to these cowards..
I know words can not express the grief the anderson family is going through but I just want them to know,,,, we appreciate and very thankful to ranger anderson
