Very sad to hear about Park Ranger Anderson. I live across the country, but just had to send thoughts to her family, especially her precious daughters. Know that because of her actions, your mom saved a lot of people that day. She is a hero in our hearts forever. I believe she will always be with you and she her spirit will not be forgotten.

I was a dispatcher for Margaret when she was at the C&O Canal NHP. She was a great person and was very protected of the park and its resources. She was always very cheerful and willing to provide assistance to anyone.
I will miss her a lot.
