Family, Friends & Fellow Officers Remember...

Margaret and I occasionally received each others emails by mistake over the last five or so years, so we'd forward the messages to the right person along with small pleasantries. She and I both have park ranger husbands and two daughters, though mine are college age, so I will miss her, even though we never met. I send my prayers for her family and my sorrow for their terrible loss.

I was very sorry to learn of the death of Magaret Anderson. Eventhough I didn't know Margaret personally, I can tell that she was dedicated to her job and serving others. My prayers are especially with all of her friends but most inportantly, her familly. My prayers are with the family. May God Grant you Peace during your time of sorrow.

I can feel the hurt in the hearts of Margaret's family and friends for this great and senseless loss, and it is painful.

There is no tactical defense against madness, and so my prayers go to rangers and law enforcement officers everywhere who daily don their uniforms and put themselves in harms way to care for and protect the rest of us.

I worked at Paradise for 5 years and Mt Rainier for 8 as a seasonal Ranger (Protection). Margaret's devotion to her job, the public and especially her family were indicative of every NPS staff person with whom I worked, even though I did not know her. Our prayers are with her family during this difficult time. Apparently her life was dedicated to serving God, and for that we are grateful.
