Reflections for Park Ranger Margaret A. Anderson
As I drove I 40 through Tennessee today I saw signs remembering several officers; but no way to know who they were, what they accomplished, and whom they left behind. Thank you for this site that helps us to learn a little about them all.
Thank you, Ranger Anderson. My sympathies and best wishes to you - the family. Good memories will come

I remember reading about this remarkable ranger and her sacrifice earlier this year not knowing I would visit the park while on Vacation. Looking up at the cloud covered summit on a bright Sunday morning, I was brought back to the story and reflected on the sacrifice she made. The beauty of Mt. Rainier National Park can attest to the greatness of her spirit. Rest In Peace

Margaret,
Every time I look at the mountain I think about that day, that cold night searching for him, but most of all I think about the sacrifice you made to protect those who couldn't protect themselves. I know that you are in a special place in heaven watching down on your family and all of us, your brothers and sisters. Rest in Peace.

Ranger Anderson,
Maam, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy. If you hadn't blocked that gunman's vehicle God knows how many other people he would have killed.

Though I never knew her, she was part of my Law Enforcement family and I will mourn this deep loss the rest of my life. My heart aches with all the losses we have suffered, and continue to suffer, through the years. God is our only peace through such incidents. May family & friends feel the presence of the "God of all comfort" as they endure the distressing days ahead. I join you in your agonizing grief & remember you in my prayers.
Another senseless tragedy
Another day of grief,
Another day of praying
To help us find relief.
Relief from bitter anguish
Relief from rage so great,
Relief from lenient justice
Which continues to seal our fate.
Relief from heartache’s torment
As we continue on,
Oh, the awesome loss of brotherhood
Now that you are gone.
Though our hearts are deeply broken
And our tears forever flow,
There’s a comforting assurance
That now with God you go.
We know that you are welcome
Now at Heaven’s gate,
While meeting brothers & sisters
Who also met such fate.
The family of Law Enforcement
Knows no distance here or there,
And we recall in comfort
You await us there.

I'm sick and tired of law enforcement officers and innocent people being murdered. When I found out that Ranger Anderson had been shot and killed, I asked the Lord to take the gunman's life. "Whatever you ask for in my name will be done as the Father is glorified through the Son." John 14:13.
I said the same prayer when WA. Trooper Radulescu was shot and killed. And the Lord answers my prayers.
"Show no pity for the guilty, a life for a life, an eye for an eye, a tooth for a tooth, a hand for a hand, a foot for a foot" Deuteronomy 19:21.
I'm sick and tired of law enforcement officers and innocent people being murdered.

Normal citizens run away from the sound of gunfire, while law enforcement runs toward the sound because it is part of our job to protect and help others in time of need. You are a true hero and will never be forgotten. Thank you for your dedication to law enforcement. I would have gladly served at your side. Continue to watch over all of your loved ones, protect them. I ask that your brothers and sisters in uniform stay close to your family and do everything in their power to keep your memory alive, especially for your children. I want to leave the following in your memory for all that love you:
"Those we hold most dear never truly leave us.
They live on in the kindness they showed, the comfort they shared and the love they brought into our lives." By Norton

"Never forget what they did here. It is rather for us, the living, to be dedicated here to the great task remaining before us - that, from these honored dead we take increased devotion to that cause for which they here, gave the last full measure of devotion - that we here highly resolve that these dead shall not have died in vain."
President Lincoln
Your sacrifice and last full measure of devotion will not be forgotten. RIP
