Margaret

You will forever be missed but also remembered by me for the time you took with others to train me in my first season as a snow play ranger at Paradise in the 2008-09 fall-winter season. I will never forget that first evaluation you wrote for me that was superior because it means so much to me in my short time of serving just two seasons part time as park ranger in a park I have at the very least visited since 1966. I pray that you husband Eric and your two children will make it through life much safer.

I actually cried today because working with you even for a short time was one of the best things I have ever had a chance to do in my life and you were the one who made a life time dream of mine come true that first season.

Thank you so much for giving me a chance to be part of the staff at the Emergency Operations Center and even more so a part of the staff at the historic Paradise Ranger Station.

Thank you Margaret Anderson. Your effort saved the lives of any number of people on Paradise, Mt. Rainier from an active shooter on a hellbent warpath, including my wife, my parents and myself. Words cannot express my gratitude nor my condolences for your family.
