Many of those who choose to serve as Law Enforcement Officers as Park Rangers are not the typical Police oriented type individuals. In my experience, these people are the cream of the crop, with a mind set of service and a true devotion to keeping the peace so that all may enjoy what our world has to offer. Sadly our world to continues to become more violent and the things once held sacred appear to be fading at an alarming rate. I would like to say thanks to all who strive to keep us safe. May Ranger Anderson rest in peace and may many blessings me bestowed upon those who knew her.

I worked Law Enforcement as a Ranger in Yellowstone with Eric, Margaret's husband, and we established a wonderful friendship. Working with Eric was how I met Margaret and she was a wonderful person. My heart aches terribly for Eric and for his 2 young girls with the loss of a wonderful wife and mother. Thank you for your service Margaret and I know you are heaven watching over your family. To Eric and the girls, you are not alone and I know God will embrace you in this time of terrible tragedy and he will see you guys through. I will give you anything and everything I can to help. God bless you and keep you.

Ranger Anderson - Tragic is the first word which comes to my mind after reading of your death. In the background of my home, Five for Fighting's 100 Years is playing as I sat down to type this. You, your husband and kids have been cheated out of decades of happiness.

Thank you for your service to the National Parks, and to America. May God grant you eternal rest and may His perpetual light shine upon you.

I am so deeply sorry for the families loss. I pray that her girls will grow to be the people she hoped they would be. I think of the years stationed at Ft. Lewis and having grown up here, the joy I had in taking my buddies from across the States through the Park. I thank her and her colleagues for all their work. My heart to all of her family.
