My deepest condolences to the family, members of the department, and those served, at the loss of this officer. May faith, family, friends and time join together to ease everyone’s pain at this time of loss.
While many other career choices were certainly available, this officer chose to protect his fellow man, and for this we give everlasting thanks. As the Good Lord said, “Blessed are the Peacemakers.”
Thank you for your service, your convictions and moral character, as well as your devotion to duty. May you now rest in peace, knowing your fellow brothers and sisters will continue the Watch!
Finally, may the coward who took you from your family be brought to justice quickly!

Avenue of the Fallen
Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

We have reached a point where no one is safe in our island. The government and the police have nothing to do with it. We have simply lost the values, respect and fear of God that in a moment of our history distinguished us as human beings . It's time to take charge of our country and not allow these criminals to continue to take what we have left, because this is not the Puerto Rico where I want to raise my children. My deepest condolences to the Castro family, may he rest in peace.
