May your soul rest in piece thank you for your service.. May God walk with your family

The Blue represents the officer and the courage they find deep inside when faced with insurmountable odds.

The Black background was designed as a constant reminder of our fallen brother and sister officers.

The Line, the line is what police officers protect, the barrier between anomie and a civilized society, between order and chaos, between respect for decency and lawlessness.

Together they symbolize the camaraderie law enforcement officers all share, a brotherhood like no other

As a former Orange County Deputy my heart breaks everytime an Officer is killed or wounded. Only those who walk in our shoes or our families truely understand the dangers of the job, but more importantly the Great satisfaction of helping others. Officer Crispin served the Lakeland community well, now he Patrols the streets of Heaven. May God bless his family, friends, and fellow Officers.

Many sad reflections here. Well here is an angry one. My blood boils with rage when I here such callous, such disregard, and disrespect for authority. Officer Crispin was doing his job keeping animals like that off the streets. He paid for it with his life.
Now it's time for the animal who took his life to pay.
God rest your soul brother, and may he bless your family in this tragic time.

"A Police Officers Prayer"

"Lord I ask For Courage

Courage to face and conquer my own fears...

Courage to take me where others will not go...

I ask for strength

Strength of body to protect others...

And strength of spirit to lead others...

I ask for dedication

Dedication to do my job, to do it well

Dedication to my community

To keep it safe...

Give me lord, concern for others who trust me

And compassion for those who need me...

And please Lord

Through it all, be at my side."

"My Brother"

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was idealistic and believed he could make a difference.
He was immensely proud of the uniform and the badge and what they represent.
He felt privileged to be of service to his department, his community and to his country.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was friendly, courteous, and polite, yet firm.
He laughed and joked, but was serious when necessary.
He was competent, trained, and professional.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He had a strong sense of right and wrong and became
frustrated when true justice became sidetracked.
He felt the sharp criticism that goes with the job, but he
never wavered.
He stood by and for his fellow officers.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He longed for his family during the long hours.
He worried about them during his shifts and the lonely
weekends, holidays and midnights when they were apart.
He felt guilty about the lost time, but knew his calling
and prayed they would understand.

He was a cop.

Although I never met him, I knew him.
He was a good son, a loving husband, and a devoted father.
He was dedicated to the profession and cared about the
people he served.
He wanted to do the best job that he could and strived to
be the best he could be.
He was a good citizen and a good neighbor.

He was a cop.

Yes, I did know him.
He was a cop, he was my Brother.

• A PART OF AMERICA DIED....

Somebody killed a policeman today .... And a part of America died…. A piece of our country he swore to protect .... Will be buried with him at his side.... The beat that he walked was a battlefield too,.... Just as if he had gone off to war, .... Though the flag of our nation won't fly at half-mast .... To his name they will add a gold star.... The suspect that shot him will stand up in court .... With counsel demanding his rights,.... While a young widowed mother must work for her kids .... And spend many long, lonely nights... .. Yes, somebody killed a policeman today…. Maybe in your town or mine,.... While we slept in comfort behind our locked doors.... A cop put his life on the line.... Now his ghost walks the beat on a dark city street, .... And he stands at each new rookie's side; .... He answered the call… of himself gave his all,.... And a part of America died.

Rest in peace Officer Arnulfo Crispin.

Sgt. Randy Keenan (Ret)
City of Alameda CA. Police Department

His Judgment Day:
The officer stood and faced his God, Which must always come to pass. He hoped his shoes were shinning, Just as brightly as his brass.
"Step forward now, Officer, How shall I deal with you? Have you always turned the other cheek To my church have you been true?"
The officer squared his shoulder and said, "No, Lord, I guess I aint, Because those of us who carry badges can't always be a saint.
I've had to work most Sundays, And at times my talk was rough, And sometimes I've been violent Because the streets are tough.
But I never took a penny That wasn't mine to keep.. Though I worked a lot of overtime, when the bills got too steep.
And I never passed a cry for help Though at times I shook with fear. And sometimes, God forgive me, I've wept an unmanly tear.
I know I don't deserve a place among the people here. They never wanted me around except to calm their fear.
If you've a place for me here, Lord, it needn't be so grand. I never expected or had too much, But if you don't...I'll understand.
There was silence all around the throne, where the saints often trod. As the officer waited quietly for the judgment of his God.
"Step forward now, Officer. You've borne your burdens well. Come walk a beat on heaven's streets, You've done your time in hell"
