As the mother of an officer, I see the face of my son in every protector out there who, on a daily basis, gives of themselves willingly so that we citizens can feel and be safe. Yet, each time he walks out the door, I fear for his safety and the safety of all officers beause, unfortunately, there are people out there who do not believe in honoring these brave men and women or respect their passion for upholding the law. The death of any officer hits hard and I pray for all of them daily. RIP Officer Dryer and all fallen heros. My heart aches for you and your families.
