Prayers and thoughts are with Police Officer Figoski and his family, his fellow police officers, and all of the people he served throughout his 22 year career. Another officer killed "in-line-of-duty" shows how we, as police officers, put our lives ar risk everyday. It is amazing to think that two officers were slain within one week (Officer killed in Virginia). Too many guns in the wrong hands of criminals who should also pay the ultimate price. God bless PO Peter Figoski and the family he leaves behind.

Pete was the biggest gentleman on the midnight tour. He never said a bad word about anyone and always had a huge smile on his face. He was a great cop, and a family man. Squad A-1 will miss you very much. I worked with Pete a few times and he was a class act. We had just spoken after roll call, and now he is gone. RIP Pete, you will be missed forever.
