My heart is saddened every time an officer loses his life responding to serve and protect, whether off-duty or on-duty. It is harder to hear when it hits so close to home. RIP Officer Wilson. The Thin Blue Line is strong. We've got it from here.

Avenue of the Fallen

Standing at attention in their class “A“ uniforms, badges gleaming and shoes like glass, are your brothers and sisters of Law Enforcement. All of whom have previously paid the ultimate price.
Today, like many others, they welcome you to this wonderful place. As you march down the Avenue of the Fallen, all eyes focus on you as if to say its ok you’re with your eternal partners. A salute is followed and a tear can be seen on so many faces.
Welcome, you served well.
Now come join us in the ranks, another is coming home.

This is getting ridiculous! So young and yet another one taken from us....I'm begging to all officers....To the ones who think that the paperwork is too much for for a misd. or because you don't feel like doing the detailed investigation....PLEASE....understand that this is why we need to increase our enforcement on DUI drivers....Stop calling them a cab ride home so that they don't learn a lesson and then one night they are driving drunk again and kill yet another one of our brothers or sisters. Please...think of this next time you pull over that car....how many of our Officers are getting killed from drunk drivers....please don't let his death be in vain and use this as a learning experience.....PLEASE!!!
